Patients known to be hypersensitive to cephalosporin antibiotics.
Tablet: Hypersensitivity to cefuroxime or to any of the excipients.
History of severe hypersensitivity (e.g. anaphylactic reaction) to any other type of beta-lactam antibacterial agent (penicillins, monobactams and carbapenems).
