Always use Reparil-Gel N exactly as specified in this monograph. Check with the doctor or pharmacist if unsure.
Recommended dose: The usual dose is: Unless otherwise directed by the doctor, apply Reparil-Gel N 2-3 times daily.
The maximum daily dose is 20 g of gel, equivalent to about 650 mg of salicylate. Diethylamine salicylate/escin gel should be allowed to dry on the skin for some minutes before a dressing is applied. Using an occlusive dressing is not recommended.
Mode of administration: Apply Reparil-Gel N to the affected area and spread it over the skin. It need not be rubbed in, but the patient may do this as wished.

Special populations: The use in children under the age of 12 years is not recommended.
No dose adjustment is necessary in the elderly population. No dose reduction is required in patients with impaired renal or liver function.
