Per 100 g Aescin 1 g, diethylamine salicylate 5 g

Indications/Uses

Reduces swelling, inhibits inflammation & relieves pain. Injuries w/ contusions, sprains, bruises, haematoma formation, tendinitis. Vertebral pain syndromes eg, intervertebral disk, nuchal pain, lumbago, sciatica. Superficial phlebitis, varicose veins; vein care following inj or infusions.

Dosage/Direction for Use

Apply to the affected area & spread it over the skin bid to tid. Max: 20 g daily.

Overdosage

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity. Not to be applied to broken skin (wounds), around the eyes, mucous membranes or skin areas exposed to RT.

Special Precautions

Risk of developing asthma attacks, local skin & mucosal swelling (Quincke's oedema) or urticaria in patients hypersensitive to salicylates. Allergy to lavender & neroli oil/bitter orange flower oil w/ d-limonene, farnesol & linalool. Avoid contact w/ eyes. Not recommended during pregnancy & lactation. Avoid use on large areas of skin & breasts during pregnancy & lactation. Not recommended in childn <12 yr.
