One must keep in mind that psychotropic drugs reduce tolerance to alcohol and this must be avoided during treatment with Domar. In general, patients treated with Domar should be aware of the possible effect of the drug on their ability to react (for example, driving a motor car and operating machines needing careful attention). This may occur especially if the dosage is high or at the commencement of treatment. Predisposed subjects, if administered very high dosage of Domar for long periods, can develop a tendency to dependence. With prolonged treatment in high dosage one should periodically examine the blood pressure, blood count and liver function tests.
