Should not come into contact w/ eyes, mouth, nostrils or mucous membranes. Do not apply to either broken (cut & abrasions) or eczematous skin, nor use in patients w/ severe acne involving large areas of the body. Apparent exacerbation of acne may occur during the early wk of therapy. Do not use in patients w/ sunburn until fully recovered. Discontinue use if a reaction suggesting sensitivity or severe irritation occurs. Avoid excessive exposure to sunlight or UV irradiation. Contains propylene glycol (E1520) which may cause skin irritation & methyl parahydroxybenzoate (E218) which may cause allergic reactions (possibly delayed). Do not use in woman of childbearing age, unless an effective means of contraception is used. Discontinue treatment in case of unexpected pregnancy. Avoid application to the chest when used during breast-feeding. Safety & effectiveness have not been studied in childn <12 yr.
