Propylthiouracil may increase the effect of anticoagulants such as coumarin and heparin, the dose adjustment is needed for co-administration with these substances. Propylthiouracil with KI (Potassium iodide) or Lithium may amplify the effect hyperthyroidism and goitrogenic effects.
Concomitant administration of hepatotoxic drugs may increase the risk of hepatotoxicity.
