Indications/Uses
Hypertrophic scars. Old & recent cheloids.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Apply to clean & dry scar. Remove the dressing from its wrapping; delicately remove the green protective film while taking care not to let the dressing fold on itself. Position the dressing adhesive side on the scar.
Contraindications
Open wound, ulcer, eschar, sweeping, burn. Not to be put on mucous membranes. Suspend treatment & consult a doctor in the event of prolonged skin reaction.
Special Precautions
Inspect & clean scar at least once daily w/ clear water & neutral soap. Must be worn permanently except during prolonged contact w/ water or other liqd. Renew dressing every 2-3 days or when its adherence properties are insufficient. Must not be worn for >5 days. Do not offer UV protection. Possible complications & compromised healing if precautions for use are not adhered to.
Adverse Reactions
Skin reactions (eg, erythema, pruritis), bleeding, wound maceration or rupture, pain.
