Click on icon to see table/diagram/imageTake preferably at bedtime. Bowel movement generally occurs within 6 to 12 hours following ingestion. The correct dose of the sennosides-containing laxatives is the smallest required to produce a comfortable bowel movement and varies between individuals.
Dosage can be adjusted to meet individual requirements. If comfortable bowel movement is not achieved by the second day, increase recommended dose by one tablet (up to maximum dosage) or decrease until the most effective dose is established or as prescribed by the doctor.
Missed Dose: Follow dosing instructions. If a dose is missed, take it as soon as remembered. If it is near the next dose, skip the missed dose and resume the usual dosing schedule. Do not double-up the dose to catch-up.
