These have included bone and joint infections, bronchitis, gonorrhea, meningitis (although treatment failures have been reported in H. influenza meningitis), otitis media, peritonitis, pharyngitis, sinusitis, skin infections (including soft-tissue infections), and urinary tract infections, it is also used for surgical infection prophylaxis.
