HTN Initially 1.25 mg once daily. Maintenance dose: 2.5-5 mg daily, or up to 10 mg daily. Management of heart failure Initially 1.25 mg once daily. Max: 10 mg daily, take ≥2.5 mg daily as a single or in 2 divided doses. MI Initially ≥2.5 mg as a single or in 2 divided doses. Prophylaxis of CV events Initially 2.5 mg once daily. If tolerated, increase to 5 mg once daily after 1 wk. Maintenance dose: 10 mg once daily after further 3 wk.
Not to be used in patients w/ aortic stenosis or outflow tract obstruction. Patients w/ peripheral vascular disease or generalized atherosclerosis; history of idiopathic or hereditary angioedema. Renal function should be assessed in all patients prior to administration. Elderly. Not to be used during pregnancy & lactation.
