Cholecalciferol (NAT D) is used for the treatment and prevention of hypoparathyroidism, osteomalacia, osteoporosis, psoriasis and scleroderma (hardening of the skin and certain organs). It is also used as prophylaxis and cure for nutritional rickets (Vitamin D deficiency).
