Saridon Contraindications

Saridon is contraindicated: i) in patients with severe heart failure; and ii) for the treatment of peri-operative pain in the setting of coronary artery bypass graft surgery.
History of gastrointestinal bleeding or perforation, related to previous Non-Steroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drugs (NSAIDs) therapy; active, or history of recurrent peptic ulcer/haemorrhage.
In the presence of severe disorders of kidney function, congenital deficiency of glucose-6-phosphate-dehydrogenase (hemolytic anemia), acute hepatic porphyria and evidence of allergic sensitivity to the active ingredients of Saridon.
Saridon should not be used in infants and children.
The established medical principle of prescribing medicaments in early pregnancy only when absolutely indicated should be borne in mind.
