There was no effect of food or grapefruit juice on the disposition of desloratadine.
Tablet/Syrup: No clinically relevant interactions with AERIUS tablets were observed in clinical trials (see Pharmacology: Pharmacodynamics under Actions).
AERIUS tablets and syrup taken concomitantly with alcohol did not potentiate the performance impairing effects of alcohol (see Pharmacology: Pharmacodynamics under Actions).
Oral solution: No clinically relevant interactions with desloratadine were observed in clinical trials in which azithromycin, erythromycin, ketoconazole, fluoxetine or cimetidine was co-administered.
