Long term usage: Neuropathies are described in the literature following long term intake (6-12 months) of more than 50mg mean daily dose of vitamin B6. Consult a doctor if the patient is taking NEUROBION daily over a prolonged period. Regular monitoring is recommended under long-term treatment. If the patient has any new symptoms, then stop the treatment and talk to the doctor.
When to consult a doctor or pharmacist: NEUROBION tablet contain sucrose; therefore its use is not recommended in patients with rare hereditary galactose or fructose intolerance, glucose-galactose malabsorption, Lapp lactase deficiency, or sucrase-isomaltase insufficiency.
Tell the doctor or pharmacist if the patient is taking or has recently taken any other medicines, especially levodopa (for Parkinson's disease) or medicines obtained without a prescription.
If the patient has been told he/she has an intolerance to some sugars, contact the doctor before taking this medicine, as it contains sucrose.
Long term intake of vitamin B12 may improve folate-deficient megaloblastic anaemia and care should be taken that a correct diagnosis is not masked.
Stop use and consult a doctor if symptoms persists.
Effects on the ability to drive and use machines: NEUROBION tablet has no influence on the ability to drive and use machines.
Use in Pregnancy & Lactation: If the patient is pregnant particularly in the first three months, planning to become pregnant or are breast-feeding, speak to the doctor or pharmacist before taking this medicine.
