Viartril-S/Viartril-S 500 Dosage/Direction for Use

Light or moderate arthrosic symptoms: 1 capsule 628 mg taken twice daily for at least 6 weeks (or according to medical prescription).
Severe arthrosic symptoms: Initial therapy: An initial treatment of 8 weeks is recommended with the following dose and administration: One ampoule daily of Glucosamine Sulfate (VIARTRIL-S) + 1 capsule 628 mg taken twice daily during the first two weeks followed by a maintenance therapy of 1 capsule 628 mg taken twice daily during 6 weeks.
In the case that administration by parenteral route is contraindicated, a treatment of 1 capsule 628 mg three times daily or the content of one sachet daily dissolved in water is recommended during a period of at least 8 weeks.
Follow-up therapy: Maintenance therapy should be followed by for 3-4 months (or according to medical prescription) by administration of 1 capsule 628 mg taken twice daily or of the content of one sachet daily dissolved in water.
Capsules or the content of the sachets should be taken 15 minutes before each meal.
Glucosamine Sulfate (VIARTRIL-S) can be used for long-term treatments without causing any gastric disturbance.
The treatment should be repeated every other 6 months or less according to medical prescription.
