Care that should be taken when taking Paracetamol (Sanpara): If the patient is allergic to the active substance or any of the other ingredients in this medicine.
If the patient has severe kidney or liver problem.
Please tell the doctor or pharmacist if the patient is taking or has recently taken any other medicines.
While taking paracetamol the patient should not take any other medicines which contain paracetamol. This includes some painkillers, cough and cold remedies.
If the patient is taking flucloxacillin (antibiotic), due to a serious risk of blood and fluid abnormality.
If the patient is taking medicines used to thin the blood such as warfarin.
If the patient is taking metoclopramide or domperidone - used to stop feeling sick (nausea) or being sick (vomiting).
If the patient is taking Colestyramine - for lowering blood cholesterol levels.
Taking alcohol with paracetamol can increase the chances of getting side effects.
If the patient is pregnant, may be pregnant or plans to get pregnant.
If the patient is breast-feeding or planning to breast-feed.
