Each film-coated tablet contains: Ferrous sulfate (elemental Iron 105 mg) 525 mg, Ascorbic Acid (Vitamin C) 500 mg, Niacinamide (Vitamin B3) 30 mg, Calcium Pantothenate (Vitamin B5) 10 mg, Thiamine Mononitrate (Vitamin B1) 6 mg, Riboflavin (Vitamin B2) 6 mg, Pyridoxine Hydrochloride (Vitamin B6) 5 mg, Cyanocobalamin (Vitamin B12) 25 mcg.
Iberet Active Film-coated tablet contains iron in a controlled-release vehicle which is an inert, porous, plastic matrix. The ferrous sulfate is impregnated in this matrix, called the Gradumet. Ascorbic acid and the B-complex vitamins are layered on the Gradumet. The vitamins and mineral are leached from the Gradumet as it passes through the gastrointestinal tract. Then the empty matrix is excreted harmlessly in the stool.
