It is contraindicated for the patients as following: Patients with known hypersensitivity to ciprofloxacin or any quinolone antibacterial agents.
Pregnant women, women of childbearing potential or nursing mothers.
Children or growing adolescence under 18 years old.
Patients with epilepsy.
Patients with history of tendon ruptures or tendonitis associated with quinolone antibacterial agents or ciprofloxacin.
Patients receiving tizanidine (Concomitant administration of tizanidine and ciprofloxacin may increase the serum concentration of tizanidine, which may induce hypotension and somnolence. When concomitantly used, the increased serum concentration of tizanidine may induce hypotension or somnolence).
Patients receiving ketoprofen (Potential risk of convulsion).
