The following conditions should not be treated with Betamethasone valerate (Betnovate): Untreated cutaneous infections; Rosacea; Acne vulgaris; Pruritus without inflammation; Perianal and genital pruritus; Perioral dermatitis.
Betamethasone valerate (Betnovate) is contraindicated in dermatoses in infants under one year of age, including dermatitis.
