Hypersensitivity to any component of this medication, active liver disease or unexplained persistent elevations of serum transaminases. Atorvastatin calcium is contraindicated in pregnancy, in breastfeeding mothers and in women of childbearing potential not using adequate contraceptive measures.
Use in Children: Safety and efficacy have not been established.
