Indications/Uses

Antacid, antiflatulent & demulcent in gastric hyperacidity & heartburn. Symptomatic relief of peptic & duodenal ulcer pains.

Dosage/Direction for Use

1 tbsp (15 mL) qds.

Overdosage

Administration

Should be taken on an empty stomach: Take 1 hr after meals & at bedtime.

Contraindications

Renal failure.

Special Precautions

Renal insufficiency.

Drug Interactions

Decreased absorption of tetracyclines, digoxin, indomethacin, Fe salts. Increased absorption of anticoagulants eg, dicumarol.
