Contents
Succinic acid 1 g, nicotinamide 0.1 g, inosine 0.2 g, riboflavin Na phosphate 0.02 g
Indications/Uses
Addition to standard therapy for moderate stage of acute ischaemic stroke, to be administered w/in 1st 6-24 hr after the onset of stroke symptoms & residual symptoms (sequelae) of ischemic stroke which occurred w/in previous 25-30 days.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Moderate acute ischemic stroke 10 mL single dose w/ 8-12 hrly interval for 10 consecutive days. Sequelae of ischemic stroke 10 mL single dose once daily for 10 consecutive days.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity. Critically ill patients until central haemodynamic parameters become normal &/or partial pressure of arterial O2 is <60 mmHg. Pregnancy & lactation. Childn 0-18 yr.
Special Precautions
Nephrolithiasis; hyperuricemia; receiving diabetes therapy. May impair ability to drive or operate machinery. Elderly >65 yr.
Drug Interactions
Concomitant use w/ chlorpromazine, imipramine, amitriptyline, thyroid hormone, doxycycline, tetracycline, oxytetracycline, erythromycin, lincomycin, streptomycin.
