Mupider can cause severe skin reactions or allergies. See Conditions to look out for under Side Effects.
Mupider is not suitable for use in the eyes, nose or around intravenous cannula ('drip') sites.
Thrush (a yeast yeast infection) may develop if Mupider is used for a long time. If this occurs, patients must be advised to inform the doctor, pharmacist or nurse.
The ointment must be kept away from the eyes.
If the ointment gets into the eyes accidentally, patients must be advised to wash them thoroughly with water.
Mupider Ointment contains polyethylene glycol: Patients must be advised to talk to the doctor before using this medicine if they: have kidney problems; have large areas of open wounds or damaged skin to be treated.
Driving and using machines: It is unlikely that Mupider will affect the ability to drive or operate machinery.
