MacMiror Complex 500

1 soft vaginal capsule contains: Nifuratel 500 mg, Nystatin 200,000 l.U., excipients q.s.

MACMIROR Complex 500 is the combination of Nifuratel and Nystatin. Nifuratel is a synthetic chemotherapeutic agent, which has a considerable and effective trichomonacidal, antibacterial and mycostatic activity: its multiple effects allows the treatment of vaginitis of mixed etiology and the prevention, contrarily to other products, of mycoses deriving from the specific treatment of trichomoniasis.
Nystatin is a well-known fungicidal antibiotic, particularly active against mycetes of Candida type.
The Nifuratel-Nystatin combination enables to reach a "total fungicidal effect" and to develop a multiple therapy of vaginitis which ensures elimination of the pathogenic agents responsible for the infections (Candida a., Trichomonas v. and bacteria) and restores the physiologic conditions of the vaginal flora. This with the aim of preventing relapses following an apparent recovery from the primary infections.

The product is contraindicated in patients with known sensitivity to Nystatin and Nifuratel.

Prolonged therapy may induce sensitisation phenomena. In case of hypersensitivity reaction appearance, drug administration should be withdrawn.

Instructions for use: To obtain the most favourable therapeutic result, introduce the soft vaginal capsule into the upper part of the vagina.
During treatment, avoid sexual intercourse.

Keep in a dry place at temperatures below 25°C.
