Hypersensitivity reactions have been reported in patients receiving Acetylcysteine, including bronchospasm, angioedema, rashes and pruritus; hypotension, or occasionally hypertension, may occur.
For antidote use, large dose of oral Acetylcysteine may results in nausea, vomiting and other GI symptoms. Rash (with or without mild fever), pruritus, angioedema, brochospasm, tachycardia, hypotension and hypertension may occur.
