Appropriately treat & supervise patient in the event of a rare anaphylactic reaction following vaccination. Do not inj intravascularly. Possible syncope especially in adolescents; may be accompanied by several neurological signs (eg, transient sight disorders, paraesthesia & tonic-clonic limb movements) during recovery phase; place procedures to avoid any injury from faints. No protection against Salmonella paratyphi A or B or non-typhoidal salmonella. Immunogenicity may be reduced by immunosuppressants or immunodeficiency. Perform SC route in patients w/ thrombocytopenia or bleeding disorders. Pregnancy & lactation. Not indicated in childn <2 yr due to risk of insufficient Ab response.
