Linagliptin film-coated tablets are light red, round, biconvex, bevel-edged tablets and are provided in the following strength (size and mass): 5.0 mg (8 mm, 185 mg).
One side is debossed with the Boehringer Ingelheim company symbol and the other side is debossed with 'D5'. The film-coated tablets will be administered orally.
Each tablet contains 5 mg of linagliptin.
Excipients/Inactive Ingredients: Tablet core: Mannitol, Pregelatinised starch (maize), Maize starch, Copovidone, Magnesium stearate.
Film coating: Hypromellose, Titanium dioxide (E171), Talc, Macrogol (6000), Iron oxide red (E172).
