Dosage/Direction for Use

Infant ≥10 mth 7 scoops in 210 mL previously boiled water, 2-3 feeds daily, 7-9 mth 7 scoops in 210 mL previously boiled water, 3-4 feeds daily, 5 & 6 mth 7 scoops in 210 mL previously boiled water, 5 feeds daily, 3 & 4 mth 6 scoops in 180 mL previously boiled water, 5 feeds daily, 2 mth 5 scoops in 150 mL previously boiled water, 5 feeds daily, 3 & 4 wk 4 scoops in 120 mL previously boiled water, 5 feeds daily, 1 & 2 wk 3 scoops in 90 mL previously boiled water, 6 feeds daily.

Contraindications

Known or suspected cow's milk protein allergy, galactosemia, congenital lactose & maltose intolerance, galactokinase deficiency, glucose-galactose malabsorption. Not intended for parenteral use.

Special Precautions

Unboiled water & bottles; incorrect dilution can make the baby ill. Potential adverse effects w/ incorrect storage, handling, prep & feeding. Prepare 1 bottle at a time. Feed immediately. Follow instructions exactly. Do not keep unfinished bottle; discard contents. Always hold baby while feeding. Leaving baby unattended may cause choking. Must be used w/in 4 wk after opening. Cool down the boiled water to about body temp before adding the powd to maintain the number of living cultures. Use the enclosed scoop only. Possible dehydration or proper nutrition deprivation when using more or less powd than indicated. Proportions should not be changed w/o medical advice. Gradually introduce cereals, & progressively vegetables, fruits, meat & fish to baby's diet (depending on individual needs) after 6 mth.
