Ispaghula husk is not to be used by patients suffering from abnormal constrictions in the gastro-intestinal tract, with diseases of the eosophagus and cardia, potential or existing intestinal blockage (ileus), paralysis of the intestine or megacolon, diabetes melitus, which is difficult to regulate.
