MAC Dual-Action Sore Throat Lozenge is manufactured in England and is presented as a clear, round biconvex brittle lozenge with a glossy surface.
Each lozenge is blackcurrant flavoured and contains: Hexylresorcinol B.P. 2.4 mg.
Clinical Features: Hexylresorcinol is an antiseptic agent which combats the bacteria which can cause sore throat conditions, and also has a numbing action which brings relief of pain and discomfort associated with the sore throat.
For the relief of sore throat and associated pain.
For adults and children aged 6 years and over: one lozenge dissolved slowly in the mouth every 3 hours or as required. Do not take more than 12 lozenges in 24 hours.
MAC Dual-Action Lozenges should not be given to patients who are hypersensitive to any of its ingredients or to patients who have a related metabolic disorder or suffer from fructose intolerance.
