Moderate to severe anxiety states, tension states, anxiety in psychosomatic, organic or psychotic illness, insomnia due to anxiety.

Adult 1-8 mg daily in divided doses.

Adverse Reactions

Occasional confusion, headache, tiredness, hangover, drowsiness, nausea of transient nature.

Drug Interactions

Concurrent use w/ anesth (parenteral-local), antihypertensives w/ CNS depressant effects, CNS depressants, antacids, antihypertensives/diuretics used as antihypertensives, Ca channel blockers, carbamazepine, haloperidol, INH, levodopa, rifampicin.
