Special precautions for disposal and other handling: Any unused drug or waste materials should be disposed of in accordance with local requirements.
Other handling information: For intravenous infusion: The terlipressin daily dose can be diluted using aseptic techniques in up to 250 mL of sodium chloride 9 mg/mL (0.9%) or glucose 50 mg/mL (5%) before administration. The diluted solution is stable for up to 24 hours at 25°C.
