Apply to skin only for necessary period because bacterial resistance by this drug may occur.
There is some possibility that sensitization by this drug may occur. If these symptoms such as itching, rash, swelling, comedo or vesiculosa, etc. occur, discontinue the medication.
Because this drug has high penetration property, do not apply for long periods or to broad region of skin.
Appearance of bacterial resistance by topical use may affect to systemic use of this antibiotic. But in general, this resistant bacteria may be susceptible to this drug again in a short time.
Because of the potential to induce bacterial resistance, and thereby compromise the efficacy of systemically administered fusidic acid, the use of topical fusidic acid should be avoided in closed settings e.g. hospitals.
Use in Children: Since premature infant and neonate have premature liver function, long term and wide application may result in hepatic disorder.
