Indications/Uses

Fast, non-drowsy, 24-hr relief of symptoms associated w/ allergic rhinitis (eg, sneezing, runny or itchy nose & burning or itchy eyes); urticaria.

Dosage/Direction for Use

Adult & childn ≥12 yr, 2-12 yr (>30 kg) 2 tsp once daily, (≤30 kg) 1 tsp once daily. Severe liver impairment 10 mg every other day.

Drug Interactions

Consult a pharmacist or doctor if the patient is taking any other medicines including those w/o prescription, antifungals (eg, ketoconazole), antibiotics (eg, erythromycin), medicines for stomach acidity (eg, cimetidine), medicines that can affect the liver. Not to be taken for 2 days before scheduled allergy skin tests.
