How do I use this medicine?
Instil Ciprofloxacin ear drop solution into the affected ear(s) exactly as directed by your doctor or according to the instructions on the label. Do not use more or less than instructed by your doctor.

To use the ear drop solution, follow these steps:
  1. Wash your hands with soap and water.
  2. Warm the solution by holding the container in your hands for 1-2 minutes before instilling into the ear to reduce the chance of feeling dizzy.
  3. Tilt your head or lie down on your side.
  4. Gently pull your upper ear up and back. Insert the nozzle into the affected ear and instil the required number of drops.
  5. Keep your head tilted or remain lying down for at least 1 minute.

The dose of this medicine will be decided by your doctor. Your doctor will advise you on the treatment timeframe depending on the type and severity of your infection and your response to the medication.

Use Ciprofloxacin at regular intervals. Do not skip any doses. You must complete the entire course of this medicine. If you don't, the infection will not be properly controlled.

Instil the missed dose as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and return to your normal dosing schedule.

DO NOT double a dose to make up for a missed dose.
