Patients w/ fever (≥38°C), lower abdominal or back pain, foul smelling vag discharge, nausea, vag haemorrhage &/or associated shoulder pain. Not to be performed during menstrual period; finish treatment before onset of menstruation. Do not use concomitantly w/ tampons, intravag douches, spermicides or other vag products. Avoid eye contact. Do not swallow. May reduce effectiveness & safety of latex products (eg, condoms & diaphragms) when applied on genital area (women: intravag, labia & adjacent area of vulva; men: prepuce & penis glans). Avoid vag intercourse in case of vag infection; partner may be infected while using clotrimazole. Sexual partner should undergo local treatment if symptoms (eg, pruritus, inflammation) are present. Insert vag tab w/o using applicator when used in pregnancy.
