Do not apply to skin with conditions such as cuts, open wounds, or on skin that has a rash or eczema. Discontinue the treatment if a skin rash develops after applying the product. Do not use more than directed or for a longer period of time than directed, unless told by a doctor.
Almiral gel is for external use only. Do not use it in the mouth. Do not swallow it. Be careful not to get Almiral gel in the eyes. If this happens, rinse the eyes well with clean water. See a doctor or pharmacist if any discomfort persists.
A brace or wrap commonly used for injuries like sprains can be used but do not use under airtight (plastic) bandages.
If the patient has any questions, talk to a doctor or pharmacist before using Almiral gel.
Other medicines and Almiral gel: Tell a doctor or pharmacist if the patients is taking, have recently taken or might take any other medicines.
Almiral gel contains propylene glycol: May cause skin irritation.
Use in Pregnancy, Lactation and Fertility: If the patient is pregnant or breast-feeding, think the patient may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, ask a doctor or pharmacist for advice before using this medicine.
Do not use Almiral gel if the patient is pregnant, especially during the last 3 months of pregnancy, as it could harm the unborn child or cause problems at delivery. Use Almiral gel only on advice of the doctor before use if the patient is pregnant or breastfeeding, think the patient may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby.
Use in Children (under 12 years of age): Do not use Almiral gel on a child under 12 years of age.
