Diosmin, hesperidin.
Description
Venoright Forte is solid oral dosage form with brown colour caplet shaped biconvex film coated tablet with break line on one side and plain on other side.
Each Film coated tablet contains: Micronized Purified Flavonoid Fraction of rutaceae 1000 mg (equivalent to Diosmin 900 mg, Hesperidin 100 mg).
Excipients/Inactive Ingredients: Microcrystalline Cellulose, Croscarmellose Sodium, Povidone K-30, Sodium Starch Glycolate, Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, Magnesium Stearate, Coating Premix Brown.
Indications/Uses
Treatment of symptoms related to venolymphatic insufficiency (heavy legs, pain, early morning restless legs).
Treatment of functional symptoms related to acute hemorrhoidal attack.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Venolymphatic insufficiency: 1 tablet daily, in the morning at breakfast.
Acute hemorrhoidal attack: 3 tablets per day for the first 4 days, then 2 tablets per day for the next 3 days.
Paediatric population: The safety and efficacy of Venoright Forte in children and adolescents under 18 years of age have not been established.
What should the patient do if they miss a dose: Take one tablet after the next loose stool (bowel movement).
Do not take a double dose to make up for a forgotten dose.
If the patient has any further questions on the use of this product, ask a doctor or pharmacist.
Overdosage
Contact a doctor or pharmacist immediately.
The experience of overdoses with Venoright Forte is limited but reported symptoms include diarrhoea, nausea, abdominal pain, pruritus and rash.
What to do when the patient has taken more than the recommended dosage: Ask a doctor or pharmacist.
Contraindications
If the patient is allergic (hypersensitive) to micronised purified flavonoid fraction or any of the other ingredients.
Special Precautions
Haemorrhoidal attack: If the haemorrhoid disorder persists for more than 15 days, it is essential that the patient consult a doctor.
Venous circulation disorders: This treatment is at its most effective when combined with a healthy lifestyle. Avoid exposure to the sun, heat, standing for too long, excess weight. Walking, and wearing appropriate stockings when applicable, promote blood circulation.
Adverse Reactions
Like all medicines, Venoright Forte, film-coated tablet can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.
The frequency of the possible undesirable effects listed as follows is defined using the following system: Very common (affects more than 1 user out of 10); Common (affects 1 to 10 users out of 100); Uncommon (affects 1 to 10 users out of 1000); Rare (affects 1 to 10 users out of 10,000); Very rare (affects less than 1 user out of 10,000); Frequency not known (cannot be estimated from the available data).
They may include: Common: Diarrhoea, dyspepsia, nausea, vomiting.
Uncommon: Colitis.
Rare: Dizziness, headaches, discomfort, rash, itching, urticarial.
Frequency not known: Abdominal pain, isolated face, lip, eyelid oedema. Exceptionally: Quincke's oedema.
Drug Interactions
Taking or using other medicines.
Tell the doctor or pharmacist if the patient is taking or has recently taken any other medicines obtained without a prescription.
Storage
Store at temperatures not exceeding 30°C.
