Tykinib 100/Tykinib 400 Description

Imatinib, a Protein-Tyrosine kinase inhibitor, is methanesulfonic acid;4-[(4-methylpiperazin-1-yl)methyl]-N-[4-methyl-3-[(4-pyridin-3-ylpyrimidin-2-yl)amino]phenyl]benzamide. Imatinib Tablets contains Imatinib as the Mesilate salt.
Imatinib Mesilate has the molecular formula C30H35N7O4S and a molecular weight of 589.7 g/mol. Soluble in aqueous buffers =<pH 5.5, but very slightly soluble in neutral to alkaline aqueous buffers; freely soluble to very soluble in dimethyl sulfoxide, methanol, and ethanol; insoluble in n-octanol, acetone, and acetonitrile.
Tykinib 100: Light yellow to yellow colored, round shaped film coated tablets debossed with '1470' on one side and scored on other side.
Each film-coated tablet contains: Imatinib mesilate (equivalent to Imatinib) 100 mg.
Tykinib 400: Light yellow to yellow colored, ovaloid shaped film coated tablets debossed with '1473' on one side and scored on other side.
Each film-coated tablet contains: Imatinib mesilate (equivalent to Imatinib) 400 mg.
