Hypersensitivity to neomycin or eggs. Patients w/ potential allergies to vaccine components or cow's milk; febrile states, acute infectious diseases, leukaemia, severe anaemia & other severe blood diseases, severe renal impairment, decompensated heart diseases; following administration of γ-globulin or blood transfusions. Severely immunocompromised. Pregnancy.
Individuals receiving corticosteroids, other immuno-suppressive drugs or undergoing RT may not develop optimal immune response. Observe an interval of 1 mth after MMR vaccine if pregnancy is planned.
Not to be given w/in 6 wk to 3 mth after inj of Ig or blood product containing Ig (blood, plasma) due to risk of inactivation. Ig should not be administered w/in 2 wk after MMR vaccination. Tuberculin +ve individuals may become tuberculin -ve after vaccination.
