Syr: Acute & chronic resp tract diseases associated w/ abnormal bronchial secretions, particularly in exacerbations of chronic & asthmatic bronchitis & bronchial asthma. Oral drops: Resp disorders w/ viscid or excessive mucus.

Nausea, vomiting, diarrhea. Dyspepsia, heartburn, dry mouth; urticaria, urticarial erythema, itching, vascular edema, face swelling, dyspnea, chills; suppurative rhinitis w/ leukocytosis; tongue paresthesia, taste changes.

Drug Interactions
May increase the conc of w/ antibiotics eg, erythromycin, cephalexin, oxytetracycline, amoxicillin, cefuroxime & doxycycline in bronchial secretions & sputum.
