Symptoms of acute toxicity include vomiting, prostration, difficulty breathing and gastrointestinal hemorrhage. Platelet transfusions may be an appropriate treatment when attempting to reverse the effects of clopidogrel. After decontamination, treatment is symptomatic and supportive.
