Overdosage

Tablet: Limited information is available on the acute toxicity of cefuroxime in humans. Overdosage of cephalosporins can cause cerebral irritation leading to convulsions. If acute overdosage occurs, cefuroxime may be removed by hemodialysis or peritoneal dialysis.
