Active ingredient: epoetin beta (recombinant human erythropoietin: produced by recombinant DNA technology in CHO cell line).
Epoetin beta (Recormon) is provided as solution for injection in pre-filled syringes.
The solution is a colorless, clear to slightly opalescent.
Solution for injection in pre-filled syringe: 2000 IU = 16.6 micrograms epoetin beta with 0.3 ml solution for injection.
5000 IU = 41.5 micrograms epoetin beta with 0.3 ml solution for injection.
10,000 IU = 83 micrograms epoetin beta with 0.6 ml solution for injection.
30,000 IU = 250 micrograms epoetin beta with 0.6 ml solution for injection.
Route of Administration: Solution for intravenous (i.v.) or subcutaneous (s.c.) injection.
Sterile/Radioactive Statement: Sterile Product.
Excipients/Inactive Ingredients: All presentations contain up to 0.3 mg phenylalanine per pre-filled syringe (see General under Precautions).
