Dissolution of cholesterol gallstones in patients with a high risk for surgery and in patients after lithotripsy. A successful treatment requires a functioning gallbladder and presence of pure radiolucent cholesterol gallstones, which do not exceed 1.5 cm in diameter.
Primary biliary cirrhosis stage I and II; Primary sclerosing cholangitis; Hepatitis of various aetiologies with cholestatic syndrome; Reactive gastritis in duodenogastric reflux.
Paediatric population: Hepatobiliary disorder associated with cystic fibrosis in children aged 6 years to less than 18 years.
