PNEUMOCOCCAL POLYSACCHARIDE VACCINE, POLYVALENT (PNEUMOVAX 23) should be given to pregnant women only if clearly needed.
Use in Lactation: It is not known whether this vaccine is excreted in human milk. Caution should be exercised when PNEUMOCOCCAL POLYSACCHARIDE VACCINE, POLYVALENT (PNEUMOVAX 23) is administered to a nursing mother.
