Avocado oil unsaponifiable, soybean oil unsaponifiable.

Description

Piascledine is a 300 mg once daily dose, a mixture of one part avocado oil unsaponifiable to two parts soybean oil unsaponifiable for treatment of osteoarthritis.
Composition: 100 mg Unsaponifiable fraction of Avocado oil and 200 mg Unsaponifiable fraction of Soy bean oil in capsule form.

Action

Pharmacologic classification: Anti-inflammatory.

Indications/Uses

Indicated of symptomatic slow-acting treatment of hip and knee osteoarthritis.

Dosage/Direction for Use

Suggested direction for use: The capsule should be swallowed with a sufficient amount of fluid (e.g. one glass of water) with meals.
Dosage: Piascledine One (1) capsule of 100 mg/200 mg Avocado oil and Soy bean oil, Unsaponifiable once daily.

Contraindications

The medicine MUST NOT BE taken if the patient has a history of hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients of this medicine.

Use In Pregnancy & Lactation

Pregnancy/Breast-feeding: It is not recommended to take Piascledine during pregnancy.

Drug Interactions

To avoid any interaction with other medicinal products, the patient has to mention any other concomitant drug treatment to the doctor.
