Dosage/Direction for Use

Adult & childn ≥6 yr 5 mg once daily. Moderate renal impairment (CrCl 30-49 mL/min) 5 mg every 2 days.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to levocetirizine or cetirizine. ESRD & patients undergoing dialysis. Childn 6-11 yr w/ impaired renal function.

Hazardous occupations requiring complete mental alertness, & motor coordination eg, operating machinery or driving a motor vehicle. Avoid concurrent use w/ alcohol or other CNS depressants. Not to be taken by patients w/ severe renal impairment. Pregnancy & lactation. Not recommended for childn <6 yr.
