Indications/Uses
Management of chronic asthma, allergic rhinitis. Prophylaxis for exercise-induced asthma.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Administration
May be taken with or without food: Empty sachet in a small cup containing 2 tbsp water, do not use other liqd/food. Stir well & drink immediately. Refill cup w/ water & drink.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity. Hepatic impairment.
Special Precautions
Adverse Reactions
Edema, agitation & restlessness, allergy (including anaphylaxis, angioedema & urticaria), chest pain, tremor, dry mouth, vertigo & arthralgia. Nightmares, sedation, palpitations & increased sweating.
Drug Interactions
Potent inducers of CYP450 isoenzyme CYP3A4 (eg, phenytoin, phenobarb or rifampicin).
