Indications/Uses
Dosage/Direction for Use
1st course: 50 mg daily for 5 days. 2nd course (if ovulation appears not to have occurred): 100 mg daily for 5 days. Max: 100 mg/day for 5 days.
Administration
May be taken with or without food.
Contraindications
Liver disease, history of liver dysfunction, abnormal bleeding of undetermined origin. Pregnancy.
Special Precautions
Women w/ liver disease, ovarian cysts, hormone-dependent tumors or undiagnosed vag bleeding.
Adverse Reactions
Abdominal pain, diarrhea, dyspepsia, flatulence, nausea, dizziness, headache, pharyngitis, rhinitis, sinusitis, upper resp tract infections, back pain, insomnia, rash.
Drug Interactions
ACE inhibitors, furosemide, aspirin, fluconazole, lithium, warfarin, antacids, glucocorticoids, thiazides or loop diuretics.
